So here's the deal, you NEED to go to Scrummy Afters Candy Shoppe in Hallowell, ME  (diagonally across the street from Liberal Cup).  This store is so awesome.  If you want some boring regular candy that you can get at any grocery store well... whatever whatevs, but if you are looking for an experience tied with delicious treats (some you didn't even know existed) then this is your one-stop-shop.  The shoppe itself may be small, but you'll never know it.  Every turn is one salivating lip smacking adventure after another.  I can only describe in so many words how wonderful this place is, so here are some from Hilary and Kim...

Please go see them.  I was able to speak to Hilary personally, who is usually behind the counter, and she was so kind and happy to have us there so I can only imagine you would be greeted with the same gracious attitude and warmth.
