Before heading off to Birch Point State Park, I had the privilege of spending time at a private summer home located in Owls Head on Crescent Beach with Sophie and her mom, Kelly, and it was so awesome!  The beach there is beautiful and as usual the weather was a little challenging at first.  We started shooting and of course about 10 minutes into the session it started raining, so all three of us huddled underneath a little section of the home and gabbed until the rain passed.  After that the weather was incredible!  Sophie wanted a portrait with her beautiful mother who is in recovery from breast cancer and without hesitation I was pleased to provide that for them.  As I'm sure it's a special moment for them, it was a special moment for me as a photographer to be able to provide a visual that shows the love between a mother and daughter even through the rough times.  I'm sure most of us know someone who is dealing with or has dealt with a form of cancer and I thought it would be great to plug Kelly's favorite treatment center, Seas It.  If you would like to be a part of donating to this wonderful non-profit organization, "Seas It connects patients and caregivers to activities that make them feel vibrant, positive, and in control while fighting cancer."  I'm sure any help would be appreciated and I will leave the links below.  With that said, I love these images and I'm super excited to show them to you all.  Please Enjoy!
