Brooke & Owen

It's crazy how time works and that you can not see someone for 7 years and it doesn't even feel like a week has passed.  It's possible that feeling of being apart for so long is even lessened in this age of technology where everyone is on facebook, instagram, twitter, etc. and we can keep up with each other and "feel" like they're still spending time with us every day.  I have my 10 year high school reunion coming up soon and about a year after I graduated (2005) facebook became a part of my life allowing me to stay connected with everyone I knew.  It's such a strange feeling.  I want to see these people again, but at the same time I feel like I never really got the opportunity to miss them because I "see" them everyday.  I am so happy that Brooke moved back to Maine and I was able to work with her and her son Owen.  We were basically able to pick up right where we left off and it was fun to reminisce about growing up together through youth events as teens and going to college together.  Her son Owen was perfect! He was so easy to work with and responded so well to direction.  On top of that he was able to maintain very natural and candid moments.  I couldn't have been happier with the location, the lighting, and the overall feel of these photos.  What a perfect evening!
